Everyone needs to incorporate a little magic into their day-to-day worlds!   Modern life is so incredibly busy that we can too easily lose sight of the magic within ourselves.  We can become separated from our instinctive selves and lose touch with our ability to connect with life in a meaningful way.  A Magical Reading with this special set of cards can help you reconnect with the important elements of life that you may have been neglecting or overlooking.  These cards were designed to assist you in getting back in touch and reconnecting with the sacred side of life.  They enable you to make positive changes simply, safely, and "magically" at any time you wish.  The "magic" is within you and within life, waiting to be discovered . . . or rediscovered.

The beautiful cards do not contain any frightening images, but have so much positive energy instead that one might wonder how they would be called "spell" cards.  I use them in the normal way that I use my other oracle decks -- to gain valuable information that I seek for those pressing questions that need insight.  Please also note that sometimes the Universe has something different in mind for us to focus on than what we think we want or need to focus on at any given time.  So with these cards, we will hear what we need to learn, and not always what we think we "want" to hear or learn about.  The Universe always knows what it's doing!

Since I do not do spells myself, I think what drew me to this set of oracle cards was the lovely images.  The art could be called "sweet and charming," but in any event, I knew I liked what I was seeing.  I am also especially fond of this type of deck's packaging -- the cards in a sturdy box with a generous booklet to accompany them.  Doreen Virtue has many oracle sets packaged in this way, and the cards stay secure when you put them away.

The accompanying 111-page instruction booklet with this set of cards describes each card itself, followed by a simple spell that can be performed if one desires.  You can choose a card at random or pick a card consciously based on the topic of your concerns.  In this booklet, the author shares how to create a sacred space, how to properly care for your cards, and how to perform spells with positive intention.  Lucy Cavendish tell us that spells motivated by positive intentions encourage true change, growth, and self-development.  As noted above, I also find that some of the spells included can actually be used as affirmations -- and the use of affirmations is something I use in my own life to create change, growth, and self-development.  Thus, whether you are "in" to spellcasting or not, this card set can be a valuable oracle tool.  Use the spells if you wish . . . or turn them into beautiful affirmations that can work equally well for your life.
