This is a beautiful 32-card oracle deck. The cards measure 3 1/2" x 5." When I first saw the cards, I was captivated by the beautiful art -- very stunning in rich, vivid colors. The cards are designed to help make a connection to the sacred wisdom of Nature through the essence of flowers. Thus, this deck will appeal most to those who enjoy nature and flowers. For each flower, Lerner offers a botanical description, flower essence, and mythical figure, healing, and blessing. The Alchemy card is considered the "wild card" and includes all the flower potentials.
The Power of Flowers cards were inspired by the author's extensive work with flower essences, astrology, tarot, alchemy, gardening, folklore, and mystical studies. Thus, her creation of this card set is enriched from a variety of backgrounds which are blended together to create a unique and inspirational offering of insight.
The borders of the cards emphasize the unity with nature with a deep green coloring that could be compared to rain-drenched leaves. The back of the cards stay true to the theme as well, portraying green and blue shading with two large leaves connected back-to-back. Even the card titles are displayed in a leaf-shaped border at the bottom of each card.
The text of the LWB (Little White Book) has an emphasis on many aspects of the new age, thus, those who have little tolerance for subjects such as animal spirits and chakras may not find it within their tastes of preference. However, I do include this remarkably beautiful set of cards as a deck selection for readings, because I feel that the Power of Flowers cards hold a special value for some people and situations. It's not a deck for everyone, but for some it will be very useful and meaningful. I like this deck for one card draws to focus on a theme for guidance, thought, and insight.
Although not a Tarot deck, Isha Lerner uses the word "archetype" for her cards and such a description can make one's mind automatically turn to Tarot. Quite some time ago after getting this deck/book set, I spent a morning going through each of the cards and finding some good matches for archetypes in the Tarot Majors for some of these cards (in addition to some related minor arcana associations that I felt were applicable). I'll list my findings here, but this is not anything definite . . . you might see them in a different way. For some cards, I've listed more than one possibility.

This is why I enjoy working with these cards through one-card draws to look at a theme of insight and information versus trying to work with them in a regular type of reading layout.
