Medicine Card Readings offer guidance to help us handle our lives with the right attitude and frame of mind. The animal spirit guides show us the lessons we need to be aware of, learn, and put into practice for improving our circumstances and overall quality of life.
Power or Totem Animals are spirit guides in animal form who provide protection, guidance, and healing. When you connect with your animal spirit guides, you will receive information and advice about any aspect of your life that you need to work through or understand.
All readings are written (hand typed) individually for your personal situation. You'll have an illustrated reading presentation to refer back to any time you wish. It's a reading designed just for you! Easy, convenient, private, and always confidential!

With the custom reading option, you can request one or more cards to find out which totem animal is most predominant in your life at this time or what lesson you are meant to be learning. Conversely, this reading option can be used to gain insight into a particular question or concern on your mind. The insights offered will bring out the most important element of a situation for you to understand and work with at this time. This is an insightful reading to show you what you need to know about a particular situation -- perhaps the attitude to take on or what you need to do or consider in a situation. This three-card reading looks at the past and shows what you have carried with you into the present that affects your current situation. It tells you what you need to know concerning the present and what current influences are at work. The last card indicates what the future may bring for your question, based on the patterns and trends of the present. And remember, your future is never set in stone. This 3-card reading is designed to address a specific question. We all have animal spirit guides that help guide us through life. If we are open to their guidance, there is much that our animal friends can teach us. In the Medicine Wheel Spread, each of the four directions reveals certain things that you need to reflect upon in your personality. They also disclose how you are learning from yourself, from others, and from the animals. The card in the center is the Sacred Mountain or Sacred Tree position.The cards of this reading are as follows:
Card 1: The East card -- This card reveals where your spiritual strength lies, and indicates the direction your spiritual path is taking. It can also reveal the major challenge to seeing clearly in your present situation.
Card 2: The South Card -- This card describes how its animal medicine is teaching the child within you, as your adult self walks through life. It is what you need to trust in yourself and what you need to nurture in your growing process.
Card 3: The West Card -- This card gives you the internal solution to your present life challenges. It indicates where your goals need attention and how to reach the desired end.
Card 4: The North Card -- This card teaches you how you may spiritually apply and integrate the lessons of the other directions. The Animal Medicine of the card appearing in the North is the key to walking in wisdom, knowing the teacher within, and connecting to the higher self's purpose and intention.
Card 5: The Sacred Mountain Card -- This card, placed in the center of the other four cards, asks you to look at the present. In this position, you are standing at the crossroads of the spiritual and physical realities. This card will therefore indicate how your spiritual and physical realities have merged to produce the "you" of the present moment. Since all things change and evolve, tomorrow (or in the future) this "you" may have grown in understanding and would produce a different card. By accepting who you are in the present, you may then see what needs to be changed or modified, whether you are in balance or not, and if you need to enter the silence for further contemplation and answers.

The card representing freedom allows you to confront the truth and find freedom through the honesty of your experiences and feelings.
Card 9 - Healing -- A special gift of healing to watch for in your life.
This reading explores your personal animal or totem guides which represent your special talents and skills that you were brought into this life to experience. These are the totem animals that walk through life with you, teaching and guiding you. They are a part of your own inner wisdom and subconscious. They also represent the attitudes to embrace -- the attitudes that can empower you when you do acknowledge and embrace them.These totem animals are found in 7 directions around your spirit: East, South, West, North, Above, Below and Within. This 16-card reading combines the wisdom of both the Sacred Path cards and the Medicine Cards. It is an enhanced version of the Tipi Reading that can be found on the Sacred Path Reading pages. Eight cards (1 - 8) of the layout are from the Sacred Path deck, and another eight cards (9 - 16) are the Totem Animals from the Medicine cards to expand the meanings of the Path cards. The cards are read together according to the position of the spread that they represent.From this expanded, in-depth reading, you will gain an overall view of the life lessons presented to you. The cards will reveal the future impact of how you are handling those lessons. This reading helps clarify one's position in an often confusing world. Cards 5 & 13: Lodge Medicine - This card denotes the Medicine that will assist you and the strength you can call on. Each Tipi has symbols of protection painted on the hide covering that represent the dweller's personal Medicine.
Cards 6 & 14: Smoke Flap - This card symbolizes the needs met and the prayers being answered in this situation. The Smoke Flap of a Tipi is the hole at the top where the hearth fire's smoke leaves and returns to Father Sky.
Cards 7 & 15: Loose Tie Rope - Represents the unexpected challenge in the situation. The Loose Tie Rope is where the second smoke flap rope has come undone and is loose, blowing in the wind. If the smoke flap is not secured, snow, wind, and rain can come into your lodge. This symbolizes unexpected challenge.
Cards 8 & 16: Victory Banner - Reflects the ability gained by the successful completion of your present pathway. The streamers at the top of the lodgepoles denote the purpose of the Tipi and the owner's function in the Tribe. These streamers are Victory Banners to show what you gain from a successful completion of your current path.
